Welcome to Draper
Located about 20 miles south of Salt Lake City, Draper is a city that has seen rapid growth over the past few decades. What was once a small farming and agricultural community up until the 1990s is now a burgeoning metropolitan city that is home to almost 50,000 residents.
With many activities and local amenities close by, Draper is a fantastic place to be if you enjoy nature and being outdoors.
Draper Real Estate
Due to Draper’s relatively recent rapid rise in population, you can expect to find a lot of nice, newly built homes here. Considering Draper was once primarily farmland, the expansive open space within the city’s limits makes for generous lot sizes and homes with lots of square footage.
Today, the planned suburban community of Draper largely features beautiful new construction homes for the modern Utah resident.
The Locals
It would be somewhat of a poetic tragedy if you lived in Draper and didn’t like to get outside. With an abundance of local parks, nature trails, ski resorts, and mountain ranges nearby, those who live in Draper tend to be those who like to live life outside.
Explore the Communities
What Draper community suits you best? Here’s what we love about each of them:Perched atop South Mountain, Suncrest offers the best view of Draper, hands down. You can see the entire valley from this mountainside community, with vantage points overlooking both Salt Lake and Utah County, as well as Utah Lake.
Located just outside Draper’s city center, Suncrest’s residents enjoy crisp mountain air year-round and have front door access to trails.
Sweeping Salt Lake Valley views as far as you can see are guaranteed in the community of South Mountain. While slightly windy, this mountain-side community has adapted to the elements, both architecturally and recreationally. Along with South Mountain’s very own Paragliding Park nestled tactfully along the bench, South Mountain residents also enjoy the nearby Draper City Swimming Pool and Draper Rec Center.
Bellevue is situated in the heart of downtown Draper. With quick access to shopping, dining, the freeway, 12300 South, and Corner Canyon High School, it feels like everything is within touching distance in Bellevue.
Homes in Bellevue are commonly around 4,000 square feet and well maintained, with the surrounding space kept perpetually neat and tidy thanks to the local Bellevue HOA.
